Dr. Dan Livingston

I have been engaged in the practice of dentistry at this location for many years. Members of my dental office team often discuss the remarkable number of multi-generation families we have in our practice. We have treated parents, their children, and their grandchildren. We also have cousins, nieces, and nephews as members of our dental family. We truly believe that the atmosphere we create improves the care and comfort level for the dentistry we provide, and encourages long term relationships with our patients.

With the importance of long-term relationships established, it is very important that we provide quality dental care for our patients. Our dentistry is provided in a caring atmosphere by our highly trained dental team. Members of my dental team have been with me for an average of over 20 years. As a team, we attend many educational courses to constantly keep current with modern dentistry.

This assurance of quality for our patients also includes highly technical new materials, procedures, and equipment for our patients. We have comprehensive computer systems for patient information, diagnostic lasers, and the newest computer assisted design/computer assisted milling (CAD/CAM) machine.

I have been a strong advocate in promoting dental health my entire career. Positions I have held in organized dentistry include Missouri Dental Association Delegate, American Dental Association Delegate, President of the St. Louis Dental Society, and President of the Missouri Dental Association.

I have also served on the United Way and the Arts and Education Council. I am an elder at my church, Southminster Presbyterian. I have also served on many other organizations and committees.

Most of my time away from the office is spent with my wife, Pam, and our two children, Danielle and Bryan.

Danielle is 21, a junior at the University of Missouri in Columbia. At Mizzou she is active with civic functions, university activities, working out, and her sorority duties. During her summers she is a coach for the Sunset Hills Swim Team.

Bryan is 19 and recently graduated from Lindbergh High School. He will attend Mizzou this fall. He does well in school, and enjoys his scholastic and social experiences. He is a former Suburban Journal “Athlete of the Week” and has been recognized by conference coaches in baseball and football. He also was named to the Post-Dispatch All Meto Football Team as a kicker.

Pam teaches speech therapy. She spends many days teaching students from preschool through high school, helping with articulation and language delay problems. Pam is an active volunteer. She has served in many capacities at our church, including coordinator of vacation Bible School. She has been the league representative for our swim team. Pam has also served as room mother, committee chair, and PTO officer at school.

Please let me know if you or any of your family or friends would benefit from the dental care I could provide.
