Cerec Crowns “The One Visit Crown”

You come in for your recall cleaning and Dr. Andreas or Dr. Livingston says, “You need a crown on one of your teeth.” Before we had the Cerec (CAD/Cam system) we had to prepare the tooth take an impression, send it off to the lab, then have you come back to cement the crown. ~two visit crown~
Now with the Cerec there is:
- No lab to wait for
- No impressions to be taken
- No temporaries
- No more two visit Crowns
With having the Cerec system here in our office it is possible to make a crown in about 70 minutes. We value your time and this is a way that we can cut the time and trips to our office.
How “The One Visit Crown” works:
The Dr. will prep the tooth like before, and then will spray a powder on the tooth and take a picture of the tooth. He will do some modifications on a computer and starting milling out your new “One Visit Crown”. Once it is milled out the assistant will try the crown in. If everything fits and looks great they will cement it in, and you be on your way.
Cerec allows Dr. Andreas or Dr. Livingston to quickly restore damaged teeth with natural- ceramic fillings, saving patients time and inconvenience.
Cerec Crown is not an option for all teeth, but in most cases “The One Visit Crown” can be used.
Doesn’t this sound great?
